Within 24-48 hours, you will receive an email from vams@cdc.gov.

You will need to enter your personal information before you can search for a vaccine appointment.

When will I be able to register for an appointment?

After you have reviewed your information and clicked “finish.”

At this point, you will see a clickable link that says “Schedule vaccination appointment.”

Does my VAMS account guarantee me a vaccine appointment?

No. It does not. It allows you to search for appointments and schedule one when available.

It is recommended that if you do not see any open appointments near you that you check your VAMS account frequently. This will allow you to see when new appointment slots are posted.
