What is the RAE Award?
The RAE Award (Recognizing Ancillary Excellence) was established to recognize non-nursing colleagues who exemplify dedication to excellent service and commitment to those they serve. Full-time and part-time employees of Grand Strand Health are eligible for the RAE Award.
The RAE Award recognition program will identify employees who reinforce Grand Strand Health’s mission, “Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.”
How to nominate an exceptional employee
Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and colleagues may nominate a deserving employee by filling out the form below.

You’re invited to nominate an exceptional ancillary team member who is a deserving recipient of the RAE Award. How did they make you feel valued, supported or respected? He or she consistently demonstrates all of the following attributes:
- Making your day
- Demonstrates joyful attitude
- Solving a problem
- Going above and beyond
- Demonstrates great service
