Just as the daisy cannot bloom without the support of the bee, nurses cannot do their best work without the outstanding teamwork provided by other healthcare professionals. The BEE (Beyond Exceptional Expectations) Award recognizes team members outside of nursing for going above and beyond to care for patients, visitors and each other.
About the BEE Award
The BEE Award was established to recognize non-RN staff members who go Beyond Exceptional Expectations.
The support of other healthcare providers is the foundation upon which a patient's health care team can maintain phenomenal care and advocacy.
The BEE Award recipients exemplify our core values of ownership, compassion and excellence, and help to create a great experience to patients and their families. These professionals consistently demonstrate exceptional care by promoting wellness, healing and hope to all.
All non-RN Grand Strand Health employees are eligible for the BEE Award. Examples include: nursing assistants, physical therapists, transporters, housekeepers, dietary team members, physicians, etc.
